Celebrating a 90th birthday is a rare and special milestone—and when the guest of honour is connected to the creation of Jenga, you know the day is going to be memorable.
Hosted by the brilliant Leslie Scott in the picturesque Oxfordshire Cotswolds, this private dining event brought together 45 guests for a warm and elegant Italian banquet. Designed and delivered by The Brothers Supper, the menu was a celebration of classic Tuscan flavours, elevated with seasonal British produce.
Guests were greeted with a selection of aperitifs before settling into a long-table feast. The menu included hand-made bruschetta, slow-roasted porchetta seasoned with fennel and garlic, delicate fresh pasta dishes, and a silky tiramisu that rounded off the meal with finesse. All courses were complemented with a carefully chosen pairing of Gavi and Barolo wines, along with celebratory pink Prosecco.
Beyond the food, the atmosphere was rich with family connection and storytelling. Leslie, a longstanding friend and host, delighted guests with tales of inventing Jenga, sparking conversations that added a uniquely personal layer to the afternoon.
The feedback? "Loved it"—and we’re thrilled to be catering for Leslie again in August.
